i How it works
Prospective fault levels are computed from utility fault level, transformer impedance and cable impedances per IEC 60909 conventions.
If the faulted device's Icu ≥ Ik, it trips and the supply holds. Otherwise the fault cascades upstream — exactly what the simulation shows in red.
Design the circuit in the Design tab first — the simulator acts on your real ratings.
